Why is there a painting on a pottery website?
2008 was an unproductive year for me, pottery wise. I have developed a bone spur in my right shoulder and have been unable to make pots, so I painted a painting. It’s the first one I’ve painted since 1994. Surgery for the shoulder is scheduled and pottery production should begin soon afterwards.
Tennessee Arts Commission hosted a show for me at the beginning of 2008 and purchased a piece for their collection. Sales were reduced so there are plenty of pots still on the shelves.
